These points are used for purchasing kaiju drops, when they become available. You can obtain points in the following ways:

Attacking a kaiju: +1 pt. per attack (top 10% of attackers on a kaiju get double points)
Spying on another village: +3 pt. per spy placed

For duplicate kaiju drops (all but 5 of them), the system will work like this. Base cost will be kaiju's health divided by 25. In the event that more than one person has enough points to buy the item, people should send me 1 message saying how much they're willing to spend on it. The item will go to the person who bid the most, but they will only have to pay the amount the second place bidder bid + 1 point (minimum of the item's cost). If that's a tie, it goes to whoever has more points then. If no one wants to buy an item with points, it goes in the claw machine.

You can still bid on items that are in the claw machine, assuming no one has won them yet. If someone bids the minimum bid for the item when it's in the claw machine, I take it out of the claw machine and send it to them. Otherwise, you're welcome to try and spend ryo to win it.

Bidding is open for the following items:
Big Mouth - 600 pts.
Plug Suit - 280 pts.
Troll Account - 360 pts.
Carapace Armor - 160 pts.
Red Water - 240 pts.
Lab Coat - 800 pts.
Power Over 9000 - 200 pts.
Book of Spoilers - 240 pts.
Granola Camouflage - 360 pts.
Magical Wand - 240 pts.
Spirit of the Demon of the Sand - 1,400 pts.
Shiny Belt - 240 pts.
Monkey Cymbals - 280 pts.
Vampire Cloak - 320 pts.
Pokerballs - 320 pts.
Fruits Basket - 360 pts.
Persocom - 280 pts.
Money Printer - 360 pts.

10/10 Current Standings:
Aarroniero:3
Ainn: 106
Ananvil:338
Arcteris:53
Arekanderu:31
Arwed:51
BlackMage2:194
Bleach261:161
Captain:44
cyborg009:96
Cybuster:629
Darkshard:64
Dasende:117
DeMy:19
DesertJ:99
dragonmark:35
Fenix01:110
GodMe:27
godofall:117
GogoluG:12
Grimmjow6:292
Harisu:5
Hitomi B:42
IzzyPuff:25
Kensen:19
Kyousuke:133
Lasalista:69
levacy:41
loathedkid:60
MeXoC:154
MiniTarus:76
Mokujin:49
Myusha:22
NarutoRame:11
Nei Tomoe:54
Niroque:118
Oathsend:5
ranvier:100
red dragon:152
redhiar:8
redice:253
Ruby Moon:156
Rupert:67
Simon7:16
Snake eyes:27
Stone245:80
Suigintou:25
Swann:124
Tatze:4
Terjeal:102
the master :13
Thoma:33
Tsubani:191
ukagore:2
WolfX:156
Xavxy:44

Does anyone object to a rule that everyone in the village has to attack at least once a day if there's currently a kaiju alive? Failure to do so could result in the loss of access to upgrades / storehouse.

Kaiju are seriously nasty now. The Fox Demon is reported to have 30,000 health (in addition to it's regenerating and increasing in strength). I imagine the Sand Demon is the same. Expect the Storm Riders and other 20k monsters to have 30,000 at this point. I don't think we can toy around with them like we used to.

However, I still think we need to be killing monsters regularly (including enticement monsters). We still don't have Super Robots, which are Enticement only, and their upgrade gives 20% off arena reputation items, which is huge. We really need to keep enticing until we get that upgrade, at the very least.

However, I'm not willing to summon them if they're going to start being a real threat to our upgrades. So, the alternative to having a rule that says "You must attack once a day." is to just stop summoning monsters. I'd rather not do this, but if you guys are really uncomfortable with the "You have to attack once a day" rule, then going without summons might be the best way to go.

Alright, I got pretty lucky with the wheel again, and I landed a second Love Love Paradise. Since I have no use for it, I'm offering a trade.

The only Super-rare that I currently lack is the Codec. If anyone has an extra, I'd very much like to trade for that.

If no one has a Codec, then I am willing to trade for any of the other Super-rares. It really doesn't make any difference to me whether I have two Love Loves or two Headbands, and if it'll help someone else, then I'm willing to do that.

Otherwsie, I'll just hold onto it. It's really not worth selling after the cut to sell values, especially since I still have over 600,000 ryo left after winning the Sevens Trophy. Or I may donate it to the village, I'm not really sure.

Anyway, if anyone's interested, just post here.

On Duplicate Monster Drops

So, I was thinking about a new system which is a little less arbitrary than our current system when dealing out duplicate monster drops. Here's what I was thinking…

Whenever you successfully plant a spy, you get +3 points
Whenever you successfully invade, you get +5 points
Whenever you attack a monster, you get +2 points

You keep your points until you get a monster drop. Whenever there's a duplicate monster drop that I can give out, whoever has the highest points currently gets first choice at it. They can pass to the next person, until eventually someone takes it. The points awarded as roughly the amount of stamina spent helping the village.

Doing it this way would (1) reward people who help the village out the most get more monster drops, rather than the guy who just happened to get lucky on this particular summon, and (2) spread the monster drops out a little more evenly, (3) encourage people to wack at monsters even if they don't want that particular drop.

I've got a script that can parse the combat log for these events and award points based on them. Effectively, I can parse the chatlog for the events, then delete them, then post the updated numbers to the forums so everyone knows where everyone else stands at any given time.

Thoughts?

New Monster Rule

Once we have Hard Corps available, I would like to start summoning monsters much more regularly. They are a good source of free, no upkeep upgrades, in addition to getting you guys rare items. However, lots of monsters means less doing normal missions, which can result in your character not developing properly. So, here's what I was thinking…

- If it's a small monster (anything with < 20k health), attacking is completely optional. If you have no interest in the item drop, or you have other more important things to do, you don't have to attack these at all.

- If it's a large monster (Storm Riders, Mad Scientists, or Super Robots), you must attack the monster at least twice a day. You can skip patrolling or collecting on these days, if you like. The stamina cost, should, then be effectively neutral.

- If a large monster survives 7 days and destroys one of our upgrades, anyone who has not been attacking twice a day loses access to upgrades for a week.

- You can get an exemption from attacking if you're doing something on a day where you absolutely need to maximize your stamina use (S2+ Jonin, going for Sannin, getting the Note, stuff of this nature) or you're at max stats and attempting to avoid your loop timer*. Just say in the in game chat something akin to "Can't attack today, need to use my stamina for X." Unless you've got a super good reason, this should only be for one day.

The goal here is to make sure that you guys can spend your stamina the way you need to in order to advance your character properly, while at the same time making it possible to work our way through monsters quickly and efficiently. The more monsters we kill, the more items there are to go around, so continuous summoning seems to make the most sense.

(Also, just a hint for those who really want to get a lot of monster drops: Legacy monochrome power allows your attacks to count for double for monster drops. Strawberry 2 (from monochrome), the Strawberry Sundae team, and the Lab Coats (from Mad Scientists) both reduce the stamina cost for attacking monsters. I'd recommend you pursue this route if you're looking to get as many drops as possible.

= You can only use this excuse if the stat of the kaiju is already at the point where 1 more level would push it over the top.

So, there's currently a rumor going around that the Ronin missions are going to be coming out soon. Very little is known about these, other than the fact that you can only do them when you're not in a Village. From what's currently been suggested, Ronin will take approximately 5 days outside of your Village, and you'll only really need to do it once (after the first time, everything significant should loop, is my understanding). I imagine all (or at least most) of you will want to do these missions at least once. However, we also don't want the Village to completely fall apart for 5 days while everyone leaves the Village to go do the Ronin missions.

So, I was thinking…maybe we should setup a system where only 3 or 4 people at a time could be officially out for Ronin missions? That is, 3 or 4 people could leave for Ronin and we'd save a spot for them to come back. Anyone, of course, is free to leave whenever they want, but if you don't get the official okay, we wouldn't save a spot for you to return (though, if there is one, you'd be welcome to return, of course). This way, the Village could maintain it's 45+ people necessary for purchasing upgrades, and we can slowly move people through the Ronin missions so they can get the benefits. My thought was we'd have a waiting list (first come, first serve) for people to go Ronin, and we just go through the list as quickly as we can.

However, I'm open to discussion on this, if anyone has any ideas as to how to handle this better? (Keeping in mind that we don't really know how it's all going to work out yet).
