May. 7, 2008 - It's been quite a while since we've done a front page news update! The BvSWiki has been growing exceptionally well, and is one of the best sources for information on the game at this time. This is only possible through the efforts of a large number of people who largely go without thanks! This news posting is to draw attention to our latest guide: The Monochrome Guide. This has been one of the most demanded additions to the site, and I think it's at a point where people can start using it. As with all new content, much still needs to be verified, and I invite all who know better to edit any errors or make any appropriate suggestions! (As an additional note, The Wiki Village has been an overwhelming success! Not long ago, we achieved our Epic Monument! We very much look forward to all of your applications, but can only accept new individuals once space becomes available!)

Mar. 5, 2008 - Since the Player pages have been such a success, I've decided to add a Villages page! Now it's possible for your Village to have it's own Wiki page to help describe and recruit new individuals to join your cause! We please ask that only Village leaders create their village page to avoid possibilities of vandalism. In related news, the BvS Wiki now has it's own Village in BvS! If you'd like to help us gather information, please feel free to submit an application to The Wiki Village, the Village Hidden in Information. We're currently looking for all sorts of players of all levels, so please don't be afraid to apply! So keep submitting information, and we'll keep growing as the main source for Billy Vs. SNAKEMAN information on the web!

Feb. 29, 2008 - The BvS Wiki is now setup so that players can easily add their own Character Page. You can use this page to show off the various achievements of your character in BvS, provide a character history or background information, or other general character building exercises. The player list is available on the side navigation bar under the label "Players." In addition, we've added a new forum: Roleplaying! Please feel free to utilize this forum for any Billy Vs. SNAKEMAN roleplaying you would like. If you're unsure where to start, why not stop by SNAKEMAN's Cantina? Update: The Wiki is now available at http://bvswiki.com/! All old links will continue function the same, so you don't need to change your bookmarks. Also, we now have a logo up there in the upper left hand corner!
Feb. 22, 2008 - Everyone who's contributed has been absolutely amazing. The site's quickly filled in tons of information relating to BvS. Things are going quite well! Some quick news. I went ahead and setup a forum for the Wiki. This should serve two purposes: (1) It'll make it easier to give feedback regarding the Wiki, as well as make collaboration easier, and (2) it'll give us a place for us to come together and discuss BvS! The forum will always be accessible from the Side Bar now under the 'Forum' link. So go, test it out! Let us know what you think! Update: Looking for today's Puzzle Answer? Feb. 18, 2008 - Professor Layton and the Curious Village has begun! We'll be updating the Wiki for the special missions related to this particular holiday. Remember, you must do this special quest every day for the next 7 days in order to obtain the rare item: Professor's Hat! You don't want to miss this one! In more general site news, we've gained some absolutely phenomenal contributors lately, and the site is gaining tons of new information about BvS daily. Don't miss out on your chance to help contribute to the site! Join now!
Feb. 14, 2008 - Happy Valentine's Day! You may have noticed that BvS added Valentine's day specific content. There are 4 special quests available specifically for this holiday. But we have a slight dilemma! It's only possible to do one quest per player, so it's impossible for any single one of us to know how all four of the special missions turn out. We could really use your help on this one! When you do your Valentine's day mission, if you could check if we have a page currently set up for that mission, it'd be excellent if you could fill in any gaps! You can find the Valentine's day missions under the Holiday Missions section of the Missions page. If you're not a member yet and can't edit pages, don't hesitate to join!
Feb. 13, 2008 - I've been experimenting with templates to make the site more consistent for the sub-categories. Right now, the Jutsu Template pops up by default when you try and make a jutsu. It's pretty consistent with what we've been doing for jutsu's so it should only simplify things. However, more interesting is the Mission Templates that I've been playing with. Please check them out and provide any feedback as to whether you like them or find them hideous. The intent was to make it look more like the main BvS missions (though I don't think we have easy access to the neat looking gradients that they have over at AnimeCubed). Try em out, let me know if you don't like 'em. When you create a new page, it'll have a drop down menu to select the template you want to start with. Update: Templates added for Allies, Items, Teams, and Upgrades. All of them can be found on the templates page.
Feb. 9, 2008 - Things are progressing at a decent rate on the BvS Wiki. The site is quickly becoming the place to go for definitive information on BvS. All of the major navigation pages are mostly complete, each page has a discussion page associated with it now, and many of the specific pages are starting to be filled in. Right now it looks like the Allies page and the Missions page are the two most popular parts of the site, so if you're looking to help out, those are a good place to start! Update: Apparently I had the membership application section disabled. It's now possible to apply for membership! Sorry about that.
