6. Payment Terms Clear agreement on payment terms should be written down on the invoice template. This helps prevent misunderstanding between the client and supplier. It also helps establish terms of payment in a clear concise manner. In order to create your own invoice template you can use a variety of existing software available today. Most widely used are Microsoft s Word and Excel which provides a basic customizable format for your invoice templates. When choosing to send the invoice through email you can change the file into a PDF format so that it can be sent over to the client.
Once you start using them you ll realize that the amount of time and effort they can save you is indeed considerable. Enhance the efficiency at your workplace There is little doubt that even the most efficient management would gain by downloading these templates rather than designing their own. It helps saving a lot of time effort and money. Even if you were fairly efficient and friendly in using MS Office you may get inclined to make an invoice template yourself. You should realize that most of the self-designed templates need to be updated and adjusted for every new invoice.

If you require to broaden the column width highlight columns A through E. Click Format Columns and then Auto Fit Selection .
