To check the market for the goods they have produced most companies will hire market surveyors who will take a cross section of population and ask them whether they would be interested in buying such a product. A few survey sites will take a detailed questionnaire and then send you a free sample. This will require you to register with survey sites and then produce your detailed profile to their site. According to your geographical location and the profile you have submitted you will be eligible for a huge range of surveys. Sites like SurveyScout and GlobalTestMarket are all survey companies that have international clients and run surveys nearly every second. But the payment process of each company will vary. A few companies will reward you about a dollar to ten dollars for every survey that you finish.
When we started our Medical Billing Service in 1994 there was very little information available on medical billing services let alone medical billing service contracts. In fact some of the information indicated that you really didnt even need a contract if you didnt want one. That couldnt be further from the truth! Having a contract for your Medical Billing Service is very important to protect both you and the provider. Many new billing services ask us for a sample contract or a copy of our contract. Using a sample contract or somebody elses contract is not a good idea. It would be like taking somebody elses will whiting out their name and writing in yours. The only time it will hurt you is when you die and then your family could be in trouble.
Billing performance measurement is an integral part of medical practice billing process and a prerequisite to effective practice management. Systematic measurement becomes mission-critical with growth of billing complexity or outsourcing of the billing function. Traditional billing metrics are limited in scope and focus on claim submission process ignoring process imperfections on the insurance (payer) side. Modern computer technologies allow both productive measurement and effective action by the disciplined billing office to improve claim submission and payment processes. Using appropriate metrics helps improve policies and procedures shorten revenue cycle reduce patient complaints improve financial performance and compliance increase cash flow reduce bad debt identify areas of potential growth improve employee morale increase productivity and reduce costs.
